I keep whole blood about a week at normal frig. temperatures. I think they might go a bit longer though. Be careful which anticoagulant you use--I find citrate to be a bit more friendly for my purposes.

  One more question regarding the blood/serum sample that I have.  If refrigerated, how
long is it good for? (poor grammar).  I realize the cells will start lysing after a while but the
serum.....?????
