OK, I like your idea, but you must put in a year in Canada. It's still cheap for you guys and we have some beautiful cities here too - Vancouver, Toronto, Halifax, Quebec City...

I like the idea of an Eastern city, followed by a midwest city. This is only because we do have some members who only attend if it is in their region (budgetary constraints, etc. play into this). The last eastern conference was Philly (I think)... was that in '03? I would like to see a southern conference after San Diego (personal opinion). The last southern conference was Charlotte in 2000 methinks. 2008 would be a great year for Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans (if it's ready), etc. and then ON TO TULSA! Anyway, that's just my opinion. I would love to go to Tulsa anytime Karen..., if only to see your smiling face again :)

Izak,
I would be interested in the possibility of hosting a future HAPS annual
conference in Tulsa and seeing if The University of Tulsa would be
suitable.
I did talk to Henry on occasion and he said he wanted to have some
eastern conferences before coming back to mid North America again (
after St. Louis and Austin).
I have the Annual conference application form - Henry sent it ( Mar 05
version) - and Tulsa and TU seem to have everything required. I wanted
to see what year would work for HAPS and then I will approach the Dean.
Let's begin a dialog and see if TU works for HAPS.

How about hosting an annual conference in your city? The format is already in place and you'll get a lot of help from the
HAPS business office and the marketing manager.
It's not as hard as you might think it is! Go ahead! Explore the
possibility!
