Welcome to my Web site!Hello! My name is Linda Morrow and I am the Branch Services Librarian at Palomar College Library in San Marcos, California. The 2007-2008 academic year is my third year at the college. I will be teaching LT 197 Special Projects - Library Technology - Diversity in Libraries in September, 2008 and LT 130 Library Media Technology in Spring, 2009. If you plan to take one or both of the courses listed above, you may be interested in my education and experience in the areas of libraries and technology. I have a master's degree in Library Science from Wayne State University and a master's degree in Educational and Instructional Technology from Michigan State University. During my library career I have worked as a librarian at
Detroit Public Library,
Livonia Public Library and
At the Lansing School District, in Lansing, MI I was the Director of Media Services and supervised all library services for the school district. After moving to California, I worked for the
San Diego County Library system
before beginning my current position at
Palomar College. I believe that libraries can change the lives of all who enter and use the services offered there.
