Guidelines for Assignments

For all written assignments, the questions should be answered in the order in which they are asked.  You may work with a "study buddy" from class, however, all answers that you submit for credit should be in your own words.  You and your study buddy should not submit identical work!

For assignments that are completed in class, please try to be as neat as possible as you fill in the hand-outs that you receive.  Please note that if I cannot read your answers, then I cannot assign points for your work.  Also, unless otherwise specified, these in-class assignments are to be handed in at the end of the class period.

For assignments that are completed outside of class, unless otherwise noted, the answers are to be completed on a separate sheet of paper.  Please do not try to squish answers in on the questionnaire itself.  Your answers should be in complete sentence form and in your own words.  Lifting phrases from the written source material without proper referencing is plagiarism.    Points will be deducted for plagiarism.  For these take-home assignments, your completed work should be submitted in typed form.  Also, assignments are considered due at the start of the specified class period.  Assignments may not be emailed!
