In Biology 201, we study various forms of life by exploring prepared slides (among other things). Photos of some of our actual slides can be studied further -- outside the lab! -- by following these links...

Images above are from Biology, 8th ed. 2008. Campbell, N., Reece, J., et al. Pearson Benjamin Cummings, San Francisco, CA.
Note: for each of the following slides, be able to identify...
- the Domain, Kingdom and Division (at least), but also the Genus, if possible
- the individual cell type, and its function
- the structure(s) within each cell or specimen
- and you should know the ploidy of the tissues and/or cells you’re looking at!
IMPORTANT: These images alone are not a replacement for the Rust manual (or equivalent photographic Lab reference). Spend the money! Isn’t your grade worth it?
